WLI 2026: Lake Cohort, Group 1: Building Buy-In for a Circular Water Economy

This video features three California based biosolids case studies that showcase how building a circular water economy is less about choosing the right technology and more about building the strategy, collaboration, and alignment needed to earn buy-in and approval from executive leadership, governing boards, and public sector support. Through strategic planning, agency collaboration, and emerging treatment technologies, the stories demonstrate how water leaders can turn uncertainty into resilience by aligning stakeholders around a shared vision and investing proactively before challenges become crises.
