WEF Chief Medical Officer Encourages Attendance At Inaugural Public Health Conference

WEF Chief Medical Officer Dr. Andrew Sanderson encourages people to attend the first annual Public Health and Water Conference & Wastewater Disease Surveillance Summit on March 21-24 in Cincinnati.

The program will kick off with the Wastewater Disease Surveillance Summit, which will focus on how to make data actionable. The conference will explore topics such as emerging pathogens, PFAS, occupational health, communication, health equity, environmental justice, and connections between public health and climate change.

To ensure the safety of everyone at the event, WEF will follow recommendations from the CDC and state and local health authorities regarding coronavirus. Attendees will need to show proof of full vaccination or results of a negative COVID test taken no more than 48 hours before arrival, and wear masks at the conference.
