BIO Policy Pulse: How Artificial Intelligence is Changing Health Care – House Hearing

House members expressed enthusiasm for supporting artificial intelligence (AI) to improve health care and discussed regulation to prevent errors and abuse during a hearing at the House Energy and Commerce Committee Subcommittee on Health, “Understanding How AI is Changing Health Care.” Members heard from experts and those in the field about how AI is currently being used, as well as what guardrails, like a national data privacy standard, are needed to protect people’s privacy.
