“We can also use a windblown effect. We can scroll through a purlin noise texture. That gives us kind of random bumps that blow our fur around. And we can offset the texture coordinates for nearby strands for a nice ripple. So there’s a kind of lag. Once strand gets hit, then the next strand gets hit by the wind.”
