Goals & Objectives:
The Session will focus on Womens participation in forming the green energy landscape with adoption of new technologies in the CleanTech space.
Women are the mainstream users and often producers of energy and without their involvement, renewable energy projects risk being inappropriate, and failing.
Women are also the main users of household energy in developing and industrial countries; they influence or make many family purchases related to energy; they are experienced entrepreneurs in energy-related enterprises; and women within organizations are effective promoters of new technologies and active lobbyists for environmentally benign energy sources.
Innovation is one of the main challenges in the CleanTech Industry, and Women could be the key to a new idea and different way of thinking. With technology constantly improving, its essential to consider new ways of optimizing the infrastructure and monitoring the energy.
While women do experience a number of constraints in their involvement with technology, the reality is that their role in technology has been largely overlooked. Achievement, Success, Accomplishment, Attainment, Competence. These are all terms associated with breaking barriers and propelling through the glass ceiling.
The future I green and it has to be created equally by Women and Men on this planet. Lets build this Green Future Today, Together as #TogetherWeAreStronger.
