Building on the case studies introduces in Video 1, this presentation will expand the discussion by applying a full PESTLE analysis to the Nile Basin Initiative as well as Los Angeles’ recycled wastewater efforts. We will examine the Political/ Legal, Economic, Social, Technological/Environmental factors that influence how each region is addressing water scarcity.
This framework allows us to compare the global and local dynamic intersect with environmental challenges. By leveraging PESTLE, we highlight how leaders can face the complexity of managing freshwater resources while providing a holistic understanding of the opportunities and barriers that shape solutions in diverse contexts.
