WLI 2025, Budgeting & Construction

Budgets set too early. Rising construction costs. A workforce under pressure. In this Water Leadership Institute (WLI) project video, we explore how resilient leadership can turn these challenges into strengths.
Through case studies on collaborative delivery methods (design–build, progressive design–build, and CMAR), smarter budgeting practices, and strategies for strengthening our workforce, we show how leaders across the water sector can adapt, innovate, and deliver real value.
This video is part of WLI’s 2025 leadership course theme: Turning Challenges into Strengths Through Resilient Leadership. By sharing lessons learned and best practices, we aim to equip future leaders with the tools to manage costs, avoid delays, and build a stronger, more sustainable water sector.
