Regulatory requirements for skin care supplements

With the growing consumer demand on products for beauty and skin health, companies are interested in developing oral food (health) supplements to promote ‘beauty from within’. This session will focus on the regulatory requirements for skin care supplements in Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore. Key consideration factors such as selection of functional/active ingredients from regulatory compliance point of view, permitted and prohibited claims with focus on the skin health claims, pre-marketing approval requirement will also be discussed.
