    The ocean has many faces: it offers food and work, is sometimes a playmate, sometimes a killer. In the fishing village of Nazaré, at the end of the 50s, the ocean assumes these different forms for each member of a modest family.

    L’océan a plusieurs visages : il offre nourriture et travail, est parfois compagnon de jeu, parfois assassin. Dans le village de pêcheurs de Nazaré, à la fin des années 50, l’océan assume ces différentes formes face à chaque membre d’une famille modeste.
