Im SmartGAITLab der Hochschule Koblenz stolpern Probandinnen und Probanden absichtlich, während Sensoren und KI frühe Anzeichen von Stürzen erkennen sollen.

Das Team um Prof. Dr. Lukas Scheef setzt auf Ganganalyse als Präventionsmaßnahme, im Sport, im Arbeitsschutz und bei älteren Menschen mit erhöhtem Sturzrisiko.

Im Video zeigen wir den eigens entwickelten Stolperparcours, wie ein großer Paketzusteller das System bereits im Arbeitsschutz testet, und wie Smartphone-Daten künftig Stürze in Echtzeit erkennen könnten.
