“Adage” is a ballet term which refers to a slow and graceful sequence of movements. The film seeks to juxtapose this with disorientating abstraction caused by process and editing. Varying levels of abstraction are created through process, playing with our associated perception of movement.

En danse classique, le terme “adage” représente une suite de mouvements lents et grâcieux. Le film cherche à juxtaposer ce concept avec un abstrait perturbant à différents degrés causé par le traitement de l’image et le montage. L’effet créé joue avec notre perception habituelle du mouvement.
