Inspired by fragments of poems by Sappho (Island of Lesbos, 600 BC), the first female author known to the Western World. The narrative alludes to Sappho’s poetic expressions and the multiple readings of her figure throughout history.

La poétesse Sappho vécut sur l’île de Lesbos vers 600 av. J.-C. Dispersés au fil du temps, ses poèmes ne laissèrent derrière eux qu’environ 200 fragments. Le souffle de la nature, omniprésent dans sa poésie, guide l’esthétique et la narration du film..
