It is the highlight of our 100th anniversary: Koelnmesse inaugurated its brand new congress and event location Confex!

More than 2,000 employees, guests, partners, and supporters celebrated both Koelnmesse’s big anniversary and the grand opening of the Confex, a one-of-a-kind multi-functional event location embedded in one of the most attractive city-centre trade fair grounds in the world. 🎉

Cologne’s Mayor Henriette Reker, Minister-President of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia Hendrik Wüst and Philip Harting, Director of AUMA were among the prominent guests lauding Koelnmesses historic and future role: “For 100 years, Koelnmesse has been a centre for ideas and innovations from all over the world. Confex will secure this special position for the next generation,” says NRW Minister-President Hendrik Wüst.
