Exhibition Description
Japan is vulnerable to natural disasters such as torrential rains, typhoons, volcanoes, and landslides that have occurred frequently in recent years. There is an urgent need for comprehensive efforts for national resilience that support advance disaster prevention / mitigation and maintenance / management / renewal of infrastructure. In addition, based on the growing awareness of disaster prevention and the lessons learned from the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Kumamoto Earthquake, the need for advance disaster prevention and mitigation measures has been recognized by local governments, industry, transportation and lifeline organizations, etc. Under such circumstances, it is necessary for the public and private sectors to work together to prepare for disasters and to prepare for early recovery in the event of a large-scale disaster. This exhibition will be held to promote related industries and further raise awareness of disaster prevention and mitigation in advance.Held with concurrent exhibitions.
